GenAI Engineer

For our international client (Insurance) we are looking for a GenAI Platform Engineer.


The Competence Center Data & Analytics focusses on solving complex business problems using Generative AI and Machine Learning. Your ambition is to use Generative AI to optimize our business across the insurance value chain. Current projects are Call Center Automation, Underwriting Knowledge Assistants, Complex Claims Handling and many more.


You will actively develop our GenAI – Core Platform that provides the technical foundation for the GenAI-Applications. The platform is going to provide capabilities in the handling of unstructured content (documents, voice), GenAI-capabilities (e.g. RAG) and AI-safety and guardrail features.

• Developing the GenAI Core Platform using state of the art software engineering methods
• Provide stable operations incl. security and regulatory compliance
• Setting developer standards and provide education to your colleagues in the product teams
• Analyze technical trends in the field and drive innovation
• Participate or lead knowledge exchanges within the local and global GenAI Community and work with technology companies (e.g. Langchain)
• Effective communication with different stakeholders to drive user adoption
• Setup and live a new way of working with the product teams (inner source)

• A solid understanding of Software Engineering
• Experience in the principles of GenAI (e.g. RAG, CoT, Agents) and GenAI Frameworks (e.g. Langchain/Langsmith, Vector Stores)
• 2-3 years of experience in DevOps (Git Flow)
• Proficiency in Python
• Proficiency in working with cloud technologies, preferably Google Cloud Platform
• Collaborative, creative, product and user focused
• Passionate about generating business value and drive the user adoption
• Master or Ph.D. degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Machine Learning, Math, Physics
